Another week in the books. Some traders printed money while others got steamrolled by their own bad habits.

Let's talk about two trades. One that banked hard, and one that left a trader staring at their screen in disbelief.

 The One That Paid (Because He Had the Guts to Wait)

The market’s been choppy all week. One trader—let’s call him Mike—sat on his hands while others forced garbage setups. Then came the moment. A clean liquidity sweep at an obvious level, hesitation everywhere, except for our boy Mike.

Mike knew this was the trade. He pulled the trigger, managed it like a pro, took partials, and let it run. 5R locked. While others cried about chop, he walked away with his paycheck.

 The One That Hurt (Because They Couldn't Let Go)

Then there’s our other guy. Let’s call him Tom. Tom had a beautiful entry, a solid textbook setup. But then, the market started messing with him.

A small pullback. Then another. A wick that got a little too close to his stop. Instead of cutting it and moving on, he moved his stop wider. Just a little more room, right?

You already know how this ends. The market ran his stop, then reversed in the original direction. Tom didn’t just lose a trade, he lost his discipline, he lost control.

One thing.
